Connect Attorneys Community Justice Scholarship

Connect Attorneys PLLC is committed to supporting the next generation of leaders in Miami and across South Florida. We are proud to offer an annual $1,000 scholarship to college students in Florida who are passionate about justice, community service, and access to legal representation.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university in the state of Florida
- Open to undergraduate and graduate students of any major (not limited to pre-law)
- Must be in good academic standing
- U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and DACA recipients are eligible
Essay Topics
Applicants must submit a 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
- "How access to legal representation impacts underserved communities"
- "The importance of bilingual professionals in South Florida"
- "How personal injury law protects individuals and families"
How to Apply
Submit the following materials by the application deadline:
- Completed application form (below)
- 500-word essay on one of the topics above
- Proof of enrollment or acceptance at a Florida college or university
- Brief personal statement (100 words or fewer) describing your involvement in community service or your career goals

- Proof of enrollment (screenshot of student portal or acceptance letter)
- Brief personal statement (100 words or fewer)

Winner announced: January 15, 2027
Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by the Connect Attorneys team based on:
- Quality and thoughtfulness of the essay
- Demonstrated commitment to community service or justice
- Clarity of writing
The scholarship recipient will be notified by email and recognized on the Connect Attorneys website.
Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship is a one-time $1,000 award paid directly to the recipient's educational institution
- No purchase or legal engagement is necessary to apply or win
- Employees and immediate family members of Connect Attorneys PLLC are not eligible
- By submitting an application, you consent to Connect Attorneys publishing your first name, school name, and essay topic if selected as the winner
- Connect Attorneys reserves the right to modify or discontinue the scholarship program at any time
- This scholarship is not affiliated with any government program
